Description

Dex Hannon, is known for his unique approach of deconstructing and recreating (remixing) his own artwork. Digitally remixing his paintings to create a different interpretation. Using imagery from Blythian memes - objects, and areas of Blyth that have left a lasting impression on him.

Dex digitally reconstructs and enhances them, resulting in a original reinterpretations that represent change in Northumberland. The traditional and the modern collide in his artwork, reflecting the rich history of coal in Blyth and its transition towards a future of renewable energy.

In this artwork he deconstructed the Northumberland Flag to create a modern interesting twist. The past meets the future.
