Description

I wanted to convey the meaning of sentience in an abstract way. The strangeness of sentience. What it feels like to be sentient. Then I began to explore what sentience meant, sentience became more of a prison than freedom.

To be free of sentience we would be free to be anything, without thought to how are actions would affect others. Then if we were without sentience would be aware of what we can become? There really is no sense in sentience.  As you might be able to see there are quite a few changes to this work from the normal flat block colours. Mixing in areas that live. This further conveys they sense of sentience. We are more than objects in boxes.
