Hannon scrutinises each frame to unearth hidden gems of composition and form. The resulting compositions, carefully selected and redrawn using digital software.

His current works are based on frames of this film he created from a series of still photographs of the local area of Northumberland. Objects and areas he refers to as 'memes' places and objects etched into his mind as he recalls journeys around the area.
