Description

Disorder and chaos are the realms of dreams. Too much order is the death of dreams. Chaos leads to creativity but too much chaos leads to mania. How do you find the place in between?

I wanted to experiment, go beyond the flat colour block and allow the abstract to invade the controlled areas of the paintings. To recognise the controlled chaos we live with. That area where we can be both chaos and control.

This painting was a seminal work for several digital remixes. See We are Important to Nothing but Us, Dreamstealers, and The Irrelevance of Art to an Insect pt 2

A limited edition of 10 Giclee prints signed and numbered are available.
